Professional Development
Because we want to provide continued support and involvement with Gateway Greening supported garden projects, we offer free teacher professional development workshops on a variety of school and youth gardening topics.
Workshops address both gardening technique and school gardening curricular connections, and are designed to make school gardening accessible to a wide array of subjects and grade levels. Curriculum Assistance
Gateway Greening is always working to integrate effective garden-based curriculum with Missouri state standards for ease of use by teachers all over the state! Please contact the Steve Eigsti, Youth Program Coordinator, at 588-9600 ext. 24 for a curriculum consultation.
Outside our service area? Not a high-need project? Need help anyway?
Gateway Greening will occasionally offer low-cost consultations to projects that do not meet our eligibility requirements for the Youth Garden Grant. Contact Steve Eigsti, Youth Program Coordinator, at 588-9600 ext. 24 for more information.
